What is wireprobe?
Wire probes,generally called as needle type probe has elasticity on itself.
This wire probes has simple construction using highly elastic wire to enhance spring.
By utilizing elastic change and recovering of wire when pressure would be applied to probe.
Standard test jig is consisted with plate to fix wire probe,and guide rail to determine position on each chips.

■Features
●We can adopt to narrow pitch on wire probes.(φ0.07mm probes can be used 110μm pitch)
●Even though used in narrow pitch,high pin pressure can be achieved.
●Due to integrated construction without any assembles,stable resistivity can be achieved.
●Without any coil springs,longer lifetime can be achieved.
  (Our φ0.3o probe has passesd internal 1 million cycle test.)
 
 
■Pin pressure
The pin pressure will be determined by hardness of the material,the linear diameter and the distance between the fixing plate and the guide plate.Unlike the coiled-spring probes,the pin pressure of the wire probe rises sharply in the beginning as the stroke of the probe is increased.The pin pressure then stabilizes after the stroke reaches a particular point
.When the stroke is furter increased and it exceeds the elasticity limit of the probe, the pin pressure begins to fall.Do not use the wire probe beyond this limit,as the wire probe may not return to its original form.

The electrical resistance of the wire probe is determined by the shape of the probe,i.e.,the length and the linear diameter.
